Since the Dominique AUROY Estate is unique in the wine world, which can't allow the consultation or use of any outside resources, a R&D department has been created since its very beginning in order to constantly develop and improve the Estate's appropriate wine producing techniques.


This R&D department is now led by a Science PhD, who has been hired in a post doctorate program sponsored by the Delegation for Research and Technology in French Polynesia.


In addition to bring improvements in the wine producing techniques, part of Céline assignments for the vineyard is also to test new vines and optimize its current mineral nutrition.
